Peggy Stewart, 95 – $10 million
Western B movies star Peggy Stewart started her acting career when she met Henry O’Neil who recommended her to Paramount Pictures. She then appeared in a series of films as well as television shows. Peggy ordinarily portrayed a tough girl who didn’t need to be saved. Peggy appeared in 35 films, mostly Westerns, but she has been semi-retired since 1984. Stewart was married twice, first to actor Don Barry and after her divorce in 1944, she married another actor, Buck Young, with whom she remained until his death. Her most recent parts were in 2012 comedy That’s My Boy and in the 2014 comedy, Getting On.
